OK, who searched for THAT?
I obsessively check my site stats, and inevitably people find my humble abode in different ways. Many are friends from college or drama, and there are a few American bloggers who have formed the habit of popping in occasionally for no good reason. Then there are the search engine hits. It's a bit of a blogging cliché to list them in a post but what the heck, they're amusing. Here's a few of the most recent...
- human face pig
- floating objects and odd things happening
- he's messing with your mind
- who got through the dark materials auditions?
- i know what you do backstage in your little coffins
The hit from that last one is explained by these two posts, but I don't mind admitting someone actually searching for it scares me a little. Of course, it is now doubly certain that anyone in search of backstage activities in little coffins will be directed to my blog...
Hello. Please take your perversions elsewhere.

Cheers for that Oz. Interesting to see I have around a thousand incoming links, though they seem mostly just a result of my comments on other blogs! Out of interest I did the same search for Dooce, and her links edge over the 800,000 mark. Boing Boing clocks over 3 million. I’ve a way to go yet then…
By the way, your troubles commenting were due to my anti-spam settings. All comments containing links require moderation before appearing on the site. I’m actually gonna turn that off, cos most of the spam I’ve been getting doesn’t contain links in the body text anyway. (I’ll install one of those squiggly letter things when I find the time.)

Oh wait, just realised how stupid I’ve been. I actually only have about 500 incoming links, as I was counting duplicates from different engines. Ah well.

Well jennster, I don’t really know what LMFAO means, but I sure hope it’s something good. Thanks for visiting!

Off topic – but I like the photo of the Tate Modern! That was my favorite stop when I vistied London.

Thanks nicole. I haven’t been to the Tate Modern in ages, so I really must go back. It’s free, after all! Out of interest, what was the turbine hall installation when you visited?

LMFAO = Laughing My Fucking Ass Off

You know that posting the words that were searched to send people to your site will only generate more hits from those same searches, right? I’m still getting hit with Ellen Pompeo searches!

Yeah, hence my saying they’re doubly certain to find me now. Still, the little graph going up always makes me feel good, so I don’t care who visits. Welcome all! Just keep your hands to yourself…
