I haven't had a problem with the power cord popping out, but I'm generally using it at a desk plugged in, or on my lap unplugged. Of course, one way of looking at it is that for every time the magnetic plug pops out you've avoided potential damage to the power socket from a standard cable. (I've had a couple of friends who've ended up having to take a soldering iron to theirs.)

On the subject of more regular posts, I appear to have chosen a very bad time to restart blogging. I'm ridiculously busy, with full days at work followed by five hour rehearsals. Life was simpler as a student who could spend all day in bed...

Glad your back. And it's a small world. I just got a new MacBook too. Have to say that I hate the magnetic power cord. Since I use my laptop on MY LAP, the damn thing keeps popping out. But I like the low set keys on the keyboard.

Anyway, looking forward to more regular posts from you in 2007! Will third person Fyse be making periodic appearances this year?
