Phew, switching hosts just as your domain is expiring is not easy. Almost everything is sorted now however, and despite my gross incompetence the domain name did not disappear into the ether. My old providers were going to charge me an absurd amount to renew the domain, and my new providers so far seem excellent, with very prompt technical support (even if it was their fault in the first place). So it looks like it should all be worth it.
The Floating Face has risen once more…
Hmmm… Everything sorted apart from the strange ‘f’s after the post dates. Just noticed those. How odd.
And now that’s sorted too.
Been trying to email you all day, but I keep getting that nasty “Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently” message. Did something happen with your email account during the server change? If so, do you have another email account from which you can email me?
Fyse! When are you upgrading to the new millenium and getting an RSS-feed so I can read your blog through Google Reader???
Well Max, I’m not sure I entirely approve of RSS feeds. I mean, then you’d never visit my site, would you? And that wouldn’t be good.
I’ll look into it when I finally redesign the site. I’m planning something of a relaunch of the Floating Face, which will hopefully coincide with an increased frequency of posting…
