Christmas Dinner No. 2
Aka ‘The Accidental One’. A group of friends who graduated last year were back in college for ‘Christmas Formal Hall’ (£7.25 for a three course meal and bring your own wine. - Minestrone soup
- Roast turkey with roast potatoes, carrots, brussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing and pigs in blankets
- Christmas pudding with brandy sauce (and a friend’s helping thereof)
- Cheese and biscuits
- Coffee and a mince pie
This large meal was accompanied by an entire bottle of wine, and followed by pool and a quiz machine in the Catz bar. From a planned quiet evening of sobriety and study, I ended up rather drunk and in bed around 3am. All this meant my Monday didn’t start till close to midday…
